This manual guides you through the learning process of grandMA3 programming.

The manual starts with an overview of the grandMA3 devices and system

In the First Steps section you will find instructions on how to set up your console: unpacking it, connecting it to other devices, and turning it on for the first time.

The requirements for downloading and using the grandMA3 onPC software are described in the grandMA3 onPC section.

Learn how to load, create and save show files in the Show File Handling section and how to interact with the user interface in the Workspace and Windows, Views, and Menus section.

Most of the software can be operated using the command line. To learn more about the command line, visit the Command Syntax and Keywords section.

The following sections teach you how to work with with multiple devices (Networking), multiple users (Single User and Multi User Systems), and DMX (DMX In and Out).

After that, you will learn the principles of adding fixtures to the show file and operating them. For more information see Patch and Fixture Setup and Operate Fixtures.
