Open the Help in the Console

There are different ways to open the help on the console:
- To access and read the help pages, press Help + Please. The help pop-up opens on the main screen.
- To open the help pop-up, double-tapin the Control Bar.
- To open the help window, open the Add Window dialog, tap the More tab, then tap Help. For more information, see the Add Windows topic.
- To open the help window, store the Help view button on a view bar. For more information, see Store a View Directly on a View Button.
Scrolling in the Help
- Two-finger tap and swipe in X or Y direction to scroll through a help topic.
- Use the Screen encoder to scroll through a help topic in the XY direction. For more information, see User Settings.
Open the Context Sensitive Help
The context sensitive help displays a help topic to a related UI element. To open the context sensitive help:
- Press Help and tap the desired user interface element.
- Tap on the control bar and tap the user interface element.
Open the Help via Command Line
To open the help window by using the command line:
- Press Help and then press Please.
- Type Help and then press Please.
- Type the shortcut H and then press Please.

To open a specific help keyword topic via the command line, for example, Patch, type Help Patch and then press Please. |
Open Keyword List
To display all keywords in the command line history, type the command Help into the command line and press Enter on the keyboard.

To open a keyword topic immediately via the command line, use one of these options:
- Press Help and type the desired keyword.
- Type Help and type the desired keyword.
The desired help pages opens.
